César M. Melgoza
Founder & CEO

Mr. Melgoza is a leading innovator and thought-leader in business strategy, cultural insights and the development of marketing systems and analytics.  Having worked at two Silicon Valley firms (Apple and Strategic Mapping). César founded Geoscape to deepen insights and analytics in an increasingly diverse American and international marketplace.  Significant growth at Geoscape led to an investment partnership with Goldman Sachs in 2007 who along with César owns Geoscape/Latin Force Group LLC.  Mr. Melgoza also is Chairman of Geoscape Europe BV based in Amsterdam, an investing board member of EcoNET Ventures/Latinum Networks, a board member of Florida State University's Center for Hispanic Market Communication and a member of the prestigious New America Alliance.

Geoscape produces technology-fueled data products, research and analytic consulting services. The Geoscape Intelligence System (GIS), the DirecTarget® database enrichment system, American Marketscape DataStream™ geo-demographics and a variety of other databases and technologies that have been adopted successfully by hundreds of corporations.

Lex ten Veen
General Manager 

Lex ten Veen is the General Manager of Geoscape in Europe. Lex has has helped his clients in expanding into multinational markets in Europe and Asia through the application of multinational market intelligence solutions.

Lex started his career 15 years ago in the spatial data industry at AND, where his work contributed to the integration of spatial data by the world's leading technology companies engaged in providing location based solutions. After having worked for years in the European marketplace, Lex started the US offices of AND Mapping in the USA.

Lex co-founded Geoscape in Europe 8 years ago, and has since developed the Geoscape business very successfully, servicing many multinational organisations throughout Europe. Responsible for the adaptation of Geoscape technology for the European marketplace, Lex has successfully grown the business double digits annually and built a number of key strategic partnerships for distribution of Geoscape’s products in Europe.

Ron Cohen
Director of Products & Services

Ron Cohen is Director of Products & Services and a partner in Geoscape Europe. He is responsible for the development of new information products and services as well as the adaptation of Geoscape US technology for use in the European marketplace. Ron also manages the consultancy unit at Geoscape Europe which develops custom solutions for our multinational customers.

Ron has over 20 years experience working with geo-demographics, market segmentation and GIS. Prior to joining Geoscape, Ron was Product Development Director for VNU Marketing Information Europe, where he worked in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands creating micromarketing and CRM solutions for the European market. Ron worked for Claritas in the US for 10 years designing and developing marketing information products and services for the retail, financial services, telecommunications, media, automotive, pharmaceutical and consumer packaged goods industries. His experience also includes several years in the banking industry as well as 3 years with Commodore Business Machines.
